As far as running out of Sprite, the airlines usually cater more of the popular drinks. On a recent flight, I saw a list of the drinks that were in the car. There were 15~ Cokes, 10~ Pepsi, 5 Sprite, and then an assortment of other drinks.. Maybe you should sit closer to the front so you can get your preferred drink.
