AA should discontinue serving Pepsi products
I admit I'm not much of a soda drinker, but when I do enjoy soda its always when I'm flying and always prefer Coca-Cola products. On several recent flights I've ordered Sprite only to be disappointed that the FAs have either ran out of Sprite or only stock them in limited quantities in Y. Most FA's say the dreaded "is Sierra Mist okay?" while some just deliver Sierra Mist in a glass without saying anything. Needless to say this frustrating and unprofessional.
I know AA receives significant corporate travel from Frito-Lay in the D/FW area and from Pepsi out of NYC but seriously, most people prefer Coke products and they should be more consistent in their offerings. Alaska even said this a few years back when they switched from Jones Sodas to Coke, saying that Coke is known globally while Jones products are mostly known in the Pacific Northwest and at Panera/St. Louis Bread Co. The only airline I know that served Pepsi products were Northwest and WestJet, the former merged with Atlanta-based Delta so they obviously went with the hometown brand, WestJet has since switched to Coke.
Seriously AA please consistently offer Coca-Cola products and offer a greater variety of Coca-Cola products like Coke Zero.
