Recalling from this past year YOW-YYZ, arrival gates were random. Indicating (at least to me) the aircraft were next destined outside the triangle. However, departing YYZ for YOW they all were within close range of the rapidair desk area, with the exception of one flight; that one was at the far end. There were WX issues that day.
