Sorry - you are right - not all 747s. But all the long haul ones (that fly to DFW/LAX/SCL) now have A380 grade seats in J class it seems. So it's A380 quality to and from the Americas.
The remainder of the 747s are being used on Asia/South Africa routes.
The non refurbed aircraft can still operate on all routes and may well be subbed at late notice. There may, however be a fuel stop along the way.
