Ah yes, and this means going through Entry Immigration, which might not be such a good idea, as it opens you up to delays trying to get back through Security and Exit Immigration then down the concourses to your boarding gate. Along with getting to the PG desk and trying to effect a change, this will chew up more of that 2 hour connection.

Take the original advice, get the stress out and book the 4+ hour connection, then relax, get a massage followed by a shower, and something to eat. Then head for the PG lounge. The time will pass reasonably quickly.
