My flight today honestly wasn't
that bad. It's not like the seat pitch magically increased between my virgin flight and today, but I basically wedged myself in, and managed to pass out. Plus, the flight was really fast(25 minutes early). Finally, upon arrival, I learned that those guys are based in SHA T1, which (for China) is an absolute pleasure to fly to (it's all but deserted, and it happens to be a solid 5 minutes closer to town than T2). It appears that Spring only uses bus gates there, in spite of numerous empty jetbridges on hand, but that's not such a big deal for me on arrival because the bus goes straight to baggage claim.
