I agree that 2 hours for a connection should be doable. The problem is that if that incoming is delayed by 45 minutes or more for any reason, the connection will likely go pear-shaped. But I'd buy into your strategy of booking the 4h20, then if time ends up on his side, asking PG if there's any space available to go on the earlier flight. Can't hurt to try.
Oh yeah whoops, big mistake on my behalf there! Every time I've flown PG it's been to get onto a domestic flight so I've had to head through immigration obviously and hop over to the domestic side.

Poor form by me right there! Well I guess it's still the same sentiment though, 2 hours is doable, 4 hours allows you to err on the side of caution
