As a fire captain I should know the answer to the fire code on doors. Codes are uniform nation wide , but each locality chooses what adopted year to follow.

My million dollar idea - anyone feel free to steal it, I will smile if I see it someday - my car has soft close doors that secure themselves silently. Someone please design this idea around a hotel room door.
