I have stayed in 3 alofts in different parts of the country this year and all three have been unacceptably noisy. For recently renovated properties it seems like no thought was put into sound proofing. I want to like the aloft concept but don't think I can stay in another one. I can hear the next rooom talking on the phone clearly , the doors slam and click shut. What are your thoughts ?
