This happened to me when I arrived from a redeye at the 4Pts Santiago. If I paid extra, they'd check me in. I had them store my bags, then I promptly went to go book another room elsewhere. Then I cancelled this current stay and my next stay at the 4Pts. When I canceled they offered to "see what they could do", but it was too late.
