We used to go quite often to this hotel, which is very nicely situated, and there is lot to do around, summer or winter.
Generally we booked the cheapest room and applied a Room upgrade certificate (which generally wasn't taken from my account) to have a St Lawrence view room (useless to say, it not worth to go to the hotel if you don't have the River view).
Now it seems that they create a new category of rooms "Richelieu" which is just above the standard Fairmont but have no view That sucks, it means that the upgrade certificate now worth 10$ !
