Unlike resort and service charges, I'm ok with this. Their published check-in is 3pm. If you want to get in earlier, either book the night before or pay the 50% rate.

I would hope they'd waive the fee for frequent guests (guests of their hotel, not necessarily Plats in general, who may not add any real regular value to any individual hotel).
