It's not actually a discrepancy -- depending on the airline, cabin and the GDS system used, the maximum number of seats shown can be one of the following:
9, 7 or 4.
Please use the
[ITA: Awards-Upgrades/UA] Method, which will show up to
9 Seats for
UA flights.

This is a limitation of the
[DotRes] Engine -- please adjust the Date to be at least 48 hours into the future or use a different Fares Method.
