After 5 P.M., would it matter whether or not I take I-95 or I-84/Merritt Parkway?
If possible I'd wait until closer to 6 or 7 to leave NJ. Mansfield is closer to 95, so taking I-84 would be out of the way

I'll be traveling with my girlfriend. And she and I suffered the same before/after Gillette Stadium traffic when U2 played there.
