I must have lucked out then. Very smooth departure on Tues. We left ORD on time and arrived almost an hour early in HKG. Took an interesting route too going east of the N. pole and dropping down over Siberia/Mongolia instead of up and over Alaska like usual.

I guess it's all just hit or miss on this route.
