Hey eveyrone. I'm strongly leaning towards leaving for Massachusetts the night before the concert. I cancelled my reservation in Norwood, and I'm about to make a two-night reservation at the Red Roof Inn in Mansfield.
After 5 P.M., would it matter whether or not I take I-95 or I-84/Merritt Parkway?

Will you have another driver making the trip with you? Exiting the Gillette Stadium parking lots and getting back to 95 could easily take over 2 hours after the concert. Any sleep you can get on the drive up or in your hotel before the concert will be priceless.
I'll be traveling with my girlfriend. And she and I suffered the same before/after Gillette Stadium traffic when U2 played there.
