That is a big overstatement. I actually think that the UA C hard product is superior to many of QR's slanted lie flats. The soft product QR will win sure, but not hard.

BTW QR gives some segments they serve as F even though it is a 2 cabin aircraft. For example when I had a NBO-DOH-DMM segment to get into the business class cabin for doh-dmm they wanted first mileage to redeem for the entire itinerary not C. This was frustrating as it made it difficult to get into the premium terminal for connections as I was in Y for the short segment
