Thanks for the follow up replies here since I last visited. I appreciate all the helpful advice. I haven't flown since pre-9/11 so if you have any tips please let me know. I will be flying Southwest. I know there's all kinds of regulations now so I will have to look that up.

Galveston Shuttle. Thank you. I will write them down and keep it as a back-up transportation source. Looks like they charge more than Super Shuttle. Thanks for the information about restaurants. That's good to know there will be a lot to choose from on the Boulevard. So I guess this hotel is in a pretty good location. No, I'm not working there but I will be meeting with employees who do. Other than Hotel to JSC and back, NASA no longer provides transportation for volunteers who are visiting. I believe this is due to budget cuts.
