I'm 6'8" over 300lb big build but do not overflow the seat. No status on any airline, on UA/AA I'll pay for the extra room. My problem is can't put the tray table down even before the person in front of me tries to recline (another topic).
Drink service you get that FA that flips down the tray table or announces you have to have your tray table down to get service. SLAM, slanted tray table across my lap and I've been refused service because the table was not down.
It is what it is, fly RJ with the isle arm rest up ans 1/3 of my tush in the isle.
At least paying UA they try to keep the middle seat empty, then argue with your seat mate about using the middle seat tray table for drink service >G<
