Finally, one agent conceded it was 35k after speaking with a supervisor and put the reservation on hold. Now 3 days later when I want to ticket, AA insist its 57.5K again.
Just to clarify, you're not stopping over at HKG, right? Just connecting? A stopover would result in two awards for sure.
I've looked at CX's published fares for PER-SGN and they look very odd... The only two published business class fares are JOW5 and JRT5 (presumably for one way and return travel). They don't appear to be constructed or IATA fares (though the rules for each do make reference to YY fares...

), and your routing appears to be within a few miles of MPM+25% (which for this route would be 4665 miles). There are no TPDs listed. If AA are using a larger mileage number for either or both flights, this could easily put your routing over MPM+25% and into two awards.
What I find very odd is that for CX to fly you from PER to SGN you'd have to change in HKG. PER-HKG-SGN is 4658 miles flown (according to the Great Circle Mapper). So why would CX publish a MPM-based fare where the only routing would well exceed MPM? Also, I'm thrown off by the reference to other airlines and YY fares in the routing rules on these...
I'm not an expert, but my two guesses are that AA believe you're exceeding MPM+25%, or that these fares look like CX fares but are actually YY (IATA) fares and therefore not usable for mileage redemption. I'll leave it to the experts to possibly correct me and steer you in an even clearer direction.

Please note that FlyerTalk Guidelines & Rules do require all users to try to find a relevant thread before starting a new one. In this case, in the stickies at the top of our forum there's a link to the "Award Desk", where you'll find many useful resources for booking awards using AAdvantage miles, including a link to the correct thread for this topic. I've gone ahead and merged your question in to it.
