Hot meals for Y are prepared at the back of the aircraft. However hot meals for C are prepared in the front, and that option might be gone soon. I doubt they will want to bring hot C food through the whole cabin after preparing it at the back?
This while hot food in C is currently still served on all flights over 1.5 hours or so?

As for hot meals in Y, they are still served on flights over 2.5 hours I believe. But the quality and quantity...it is depressing. I was given this on a 3.5 hour flight. Notice the size in comparison to the (already small) KLM napkin: http://upload.xandrios.net/image.jpg
