Your "miles" - or Avios - they do not expire unless you've had three years of zero activity (no flying, no BA transactions, no credits to the BAEC programme from other partners, etc).

Your tier points are reset annually on the day after your membership year end.

Eg, Membership year end 8th December. 300 tier points.
New membership year 9th December. 0 tier points.
