Do you agree that if a flight from YVR-YYC has 50 Chinese tourists, and there happen to be an FA who speaks Mandarin, then an announcements should be made in Mandarin, if so, you are in agreement with the rest of us.
I'm sure when the tour operator books 50 tickets for those folks, AC might wanna know whether they are international tourists, seniors, or football players and plan accordingly.
ps. I can't imagine there are many mainland Chinese who travels abroad that can't understand Mandarin, maybe they speak it poorly, but they should be able to understand Mandarin announcements.
