The automatic system sent out 5k skymiles for my overnight in koa.

The pisser about this delay was that I found out from another passenger in the voucher line that the flight was cancelled 20+ minutes before they announced it in the terminal (the other passenger saw the info online). If they had announced it earlier, I could have caught the AA flight out (I was literally on the phone with Delta, in the AA line waiting for the ticket (the delta rep was on the phone with AA ticketing) when the nice AA ticket counter lady finally said she couldn't wait any longer and I wouldn't be able to check in if I didn't have the ticket now).
