You can actually use the Presidents's Club status with Avis to match to President's Circle Status with Hertz. It's really easy. Just google Hertz status match which will give you an address to which you can email a copy of your Avis card and a few other details.
Unrelated: How are you a lifetime club member yet have no status on UA which would give you the benefits of premiere security and boarding? If you just want a good card that can earn you miles I would actually recommend the Chase Sapphire Preferred over the Explorer or the Club Card.
Hertz employee discounts cannot be beat.....trust me......
Also, when I turned 62 (senior rate), I purchased a Lifetime Presidents Club membership for myself and my wife. This was done because we would be flying EWR/RSW to our home in N. Naples. I understand, lifetime is no longer offered. Also, I am pissed because TSA took the space in RSW that was dedicated to the Presidents Lounge.
