I thought VA is a partner airline with SQ, so does that mean you have access to SQ SKL should you choose to?

I've visited both SKL and Air NZ lounge in Sydney. SKL is much smaller but food I rate as slightly better, however drink selection is rather poor (esp alcoholic) but it's much quieter.

NZ lounge is a lot bigger, but then it's serves a lot of airlines and it's very busy most of the time. Food (esp hot version) are rather limited but drink selection is excellent. It's also a lot brighter with natural light coming three sides of the lounge; SQ is a bit darker with more limited natural light.

They are right next to each other, so you can go check out both of them. However, having been to Sydney a few times, I've only seen SQ opened once probably to coincide with SQ flight departures.
