I guess status will be the same as Elites will leave KLM and find other carriers while new non status pax gets the free EC seats at late check in (or just help themselves when boarding is complete without intervention)...

KLM Y for Elites used to be the number one carrier IMHO but since the Dec 1 introduction of idiotic Europe EC it has fallen way below par
