I am going to go out on the limb here and reach out to the hotel and the good folks at corporate upon my return from the US
For many years I have had nothing but the highest respect for this hotel
At the end of the day this is more than a property devaluation it is a massive devaluation of the very Diamond benefits of the program and nothing more than a devaluation of points and Diamond confirmable upgrades when using paid revenue nights
Thanks to all for the update and saving myself from a return stay future embarrassment and like all here disappointment from clearly one of a small number of hotels that set the gold standard for Hyatt worldwide in almost every regard
