I think PM is screwing customers seeing the shabby reviews on ICICI and HDFC Jet cards. What it effectively means is that earlier u book, cheaper you get. This takes away the whole idea of booking "using miles" wherein the miles have to be fixed based on the destination and not the ticket price. The whole concept of being able to book using "no blackout dates for miles redemption" is a farce now

So in a way, what the PM portal has become now is nothing but a "Makemytrip in miles". Really sad to see that we have no good air miles options and not even good cards to accumulate miles
