GCM: Left hand side as you get a good view of all of seven mile beach and the island on the entire approach. Typically come in left downwind if thats the right terminology over the north sound / west bay, turn onto left base along the length of the beach which will be to your left, then beach still on the left when on final, plus good view of any cruise ships that are still in on landing late afternoon (often will be on a friday in the winter). Right side is just sea until the last few seconds when you'll see houses...and more sea... On a rare occasion (bit more often in winter due to nor'westers) you'll land straight from the East when the winds change. Easy to switch sides after leaving the stop in the bahamas anyway as most pax get off there.
And i'll add to GLA as its my favourite - depends on the approach! If you can ask or if have time to move if the pilot announces the approach and its runway 5 (direct in from the south), the view on a clear day in the evening over to the western isles will make you glad you are alive, so absolutely left in those circumstances.
