If you don't need your J seats and creature comforts, there's actually a daily morning AirAsia flight from Solo direct to KUL. On the downside, it arrives at the low cost carrier terminal in KL; on the upside, it's probably a lot quicker and cheaper than flying via CGK, plus it allows you to fit in one more dusk viewing at either of the temple complexes.
