Wailea.. Check the rates out for Four Seasons and Grand Wailea. You'll find pretty good value from the surface, getting a suite, as opposed to an ordinary room. Ka'anapali is not a fair comparison as real estate is 1/3 of Wailea. The neighboring 4 plexes ocean front to Kea Lani is selling for $4 million plus (2,800 sq ft).
The microwave, soundsystem.. amenities are a nice touch.. not to mention the extra space making the vacation more comfortable.
The hotel upgraded comp at check-in. FPC rules doesn't allow two suite upgrades to be used. Kudos to the hotel.
