Borobudur and Prambanan are considerably smaller than Angkor, they're both single sites instead of sprawling remnants of an empire. YMMV, but I found half a day each quite sufficient.
I love the Indonesian school children at these sites, they want to practice English so they introduce themselves to you and ask questions. After the first half dozen you lose interest though
This is the best part about staying at Manohara: they let you into the temple one hour before anybody else, so you can rush to the top, enjoy the sunrise and take your time circling down before the hordes of happy little "hello mister, what your name, bisa ambil foto anda" descend on you.
