I have five 2Tree's that are on my regular stay list. One was pretty bad, but it has gotten a much needed upgrade and is nice as many Hiltons (Wooddale IL).

Two others are good, but not great. Typical mid-grade business hotels (Jackson TN-I'll be there in a week for one night and Tampa Westshore-good EL and BF but the rest about average).

The fourth and fifth, are good and recommended. (Memphis near Germantown-not the downtown one and Niagara Falls ONT, nice stay a bit far from the tourist stuff but I go on business.)

I like 2Tree for a selfish reason. Because of the reputation noted in this thread, many are avoided when they should not be. Occupancy is lower, they are less crowded, and they save a few bucks, usually.

There was a tremendous consistency problem that it appears Hilton is trying to fix.

The cookies are consistent. I was warned about the nuts on my last stay on Wednesday, a past complaint about 2Tree.
