Thank you. I tried to comparison shop this morning but as many things with the Internet, nothing's simple. Found out my DH's Amtrak acct wasn't linked to his Amtrack.com account. by the time I got that fixed it was time to get on the road. Now I'm the copilot and on the iPad.

I've never shopped UR mall but figure it will be pretty straightforward. To use Amtrak portal do I go through Amtrack.com the same way I use aa.com to get to Aadvantage shopping? Then I thought I'd try cashbackholics too because of FRequent Miler's experiments with portals. But that was where I began earlier today and got stumped. I couldn't find Amtrack on cashbackholics alphabetical list.

A couple other things I discovered earlier today were: DH must not have purchased previous trips with his Guest Rewards no. Because he has no points that is fixed because I'll manage the accounts now. . I also found I don't have an account. That's going to get fixed too.

Will we both get points if we share a roomette?
