I had the same experience two weeks ago. When I was escorted to my suite imagine my surprise when I was presented with a Club Deluxe room that was renovated. I asked the agent that I never had a Grand Suite like that and she told me straight to my face that this always was Grand Suite. I told her this wasnt the case giving her examples of features of the suites I had before (two bathrooms, hardwood floors, B&O system) and she stuck with her story. Later that day I talked to the FO Manager who told me they made the change on November 15 and he expected reservations to communicate the change to customers.No apology for the mistake or being lied to . After I ask him offered to put me into a Grand View Suite on an upcoming stay. Not sure if I will stay at the hotel in future being lied to is something I dont torlerate especially in the hospitality industry.
