Again a mixed bag IME. I've stayed at two in the past two weeks.

Doubletree Newcastle Airport is very nice indeed. Highly recommended.

Doubletree Heathrow is a bit iffy. Some bits have been renovated well, but others are in need of attention. And the service wasn't good.
