Yeah, that's the way I did, no luck
Only found an option with huge layover in MSP. And I was logged in as a PM while searching (I'm getting ticket not from my account).

MSPeconomist, I was thinking about flying to ATL and booking separate ticket, but taxes/fees on award ticket are almost $500 and I don't really want to spend more. Not a big deal, though it would a reason to consider booking whole ticket in Y for $$ and get MQMs.

So for now I skipped RDU and got a ticket in low J with one great connection each way, plus dates fit perfect for me. Maybe in a week or two some options will show up, and I'll rebook.
