Here we go again with AC putting the cart before the horses...

Finally we can bypass YVR when heading to ICN from Eastern Canada; too bad this flight has a totally pointless schedule.

Great timing but terrible choice of days to fly it no matter which direction you are headed. There is a reason the current flight is always full Friday evening; business people want to do a full week of work in ICN and return home on Friday thus not wasting a weekend day travelling!

With this new offering I would travel halfway around the work to arrive Monday evening and depart Thursday evening; a whole 3 days of work for 3 days spent in the air. Or, I arrive Saturday evening and leave following saturday evening: 2 weekend wasted in the airplane for 1 week of work.

This is what happens when you let MBAs run a company people... All the theory in the world but not an ounce of common sense. My predition: that route fails within 6-12 months leaving them clueless as to the exact reason even though ICN-YVR-YYZ continues to be completely full.
