That said: http://www.alaskaair.com/content/mil.../american.aspx appears to say no. Your flight is not within those ranges, and is marketed by AA but operated by BA. BA page has a similar restriction, so it looks like you cannot credit this to AS.

To qualify for mileage accrual, please note that your flights must fall within the eligible flight number range below and your flight must be marketed and operated by American Airlines.

American
Eligible Flight Numbers

0001 - 5599
6750 - 7199
7454 - 7603
Obviously that's the rule. However, I've had success getting credit for a DL flight operated by AF by sending AS the AF boarding pass. The DL* flight number we booked was not eligible for earning, but the AF flight number was. If you're booking the flight anyway, it's worth a try. If you can book with the BA flight number for the same price, that's safer (but you go by the BA earning rules, which means no EQM).

The wording here could give you a case, emphasis added:

To ensure flight credit, the two letter airline code (BA) must precede the flight number (for example, BA XXXX) on your ticket receipt or boarding pass.
You will presumably have a BAXXXX boarding pass.
