Several months ago I was waiting for the late DFW-MEX flight -- it was the only flight departing in the area of D and while waiting to board two girls gaming running to the podium - their flight to LAX or wherever was going out of a different terminal, they had gotten off at the wrong stop on the train, then gotten back on and gotten off and were here - they were panicking - the GA basically told them they weren't going to make their flight - wait until he got done with the MEX flight and he would rebook them in the morning. While he may have gotten into charging them later - at that point - his message was essentially "no problem - wait and i'll get you rebooked." He made it sound like no big deal.
