I have gotten two notices in hundreds of trips. A couple of others in which it seems things were disturbed. Nothing missing at any time. The most expensive single items I pack are my Coast tactical light and my Red Wing work shoes. I pack all possibly suspicious items right on top so they find them quickly. I do not lock my bag.
