I am thinking of an 18 days trip next year but not sure where to go. I have enough Aeroplan and Avios points and 65000 Mileage Plus points to redeem tickets, economy or business class does not matter but would like to maximize free stop overs in one redemption. I will be flying out from Toronto and would like to visit Europe, Bali, Hong Kong, Dubai and Australia. I know it's impossible to visit all these places in one trip, 3-4 countries would be idea, any suggestion on which program to redeem and routing with minimal points required and maximum visits in one single redemption. I agree with the posters above, but let's set aside our personal preferences. If you want to see as much as possible, you should look into Aeroplan's mini-RTW award to maximize intercontinental travel. Then, use Avios for shorter hops where possible and appropriate (e.g., SYD-MEL, or intra-Asia if there are OW partners flying the route).
