How is San Antonio (Riverwalk area) in late August?
The Riverwalk is several yards below street level. During the hot summer months it seems 15 to 20 degrees hotter down on the Riverwalk than up on the street. Of course Non-Texans wilt and even melt at those temperatures.
Best strategy: stay indoors during the day; come out and party at night.
