So I booked two nights at $234 and used 22,000 points for my third night.
Since I can't suite upgrade on a third night award stay, I'll have to rely on the hotel for any upgrade at all.
Thanks again.
That is a problem I've run into too - often the nights are cheaper when you book a subset individually then booking them all together. You have to make them as multiple separate reservations which throws off suite redemptions. I wonder if you made two separate reservations if there is some way they could merge them into one? The method you did it is a good solution though that saves the hassle and is still a great deal for a great hotel in NY! With the BRG you can get some pretty amazing rates at this property - I had a $150 per night BRG rate here (with a confirmed suite upgrade) booked earlier this month which I unfortunately had to cancel in the Sandy aftermath.
