As many of you know, I have flown UA many times this year, most recently SEA-SFO-CDG and AMS-ORD-SEA and the service from check-in to RCCs to baggage handling were exactly what I would expect from an airline as a FF. AC is SO inconsistent that they are unreliable on the service end of things more often than not in my experience. Look at us, we have to bring CICs to check-in or upgrade and stand-by. That's got to stop. On a personal side, when my AMS-ORD flight was oversold a few days ago, at check-in I enquiried about the back being oversold and the Globe Ground agent (with her UA station mgr behind her) replied that earlier this morning all of the 1Ks and Premier Execs were upgraded! Funny, AC prefers to seat people from tour groups, ZIP and other staff over people that paid more and/or are FFs. IMHO, that is wrong and also shows that the agent is being lazy. Am I wrong?
