I spent 40 mins in a security line last week connecting SIN-NRT-MSP. I made my flight but no time for the lounge. The security process there was really inefficient. Bag checks totally stopped the lines until complete.
Other transits have been real easy, so it really is hit or miss depending on how flights arrive.
As MSPeconomist says, they will pull people out of line when flights are tight. So you will make it, but it can be more stressful than it needs to be.
