Was definitely a much nicer experience than ET... time seemed to pass faster having a three course meal and some champagne. But don't expect much (if any) difference regarding the seats/IFE. Would not pay much more than 80 GBP for an upgrade to CE.
What about the middle pairs? I quite like the fact that you don't have to play armrest war with the person next to you because of the squashed middle seat.
