Recently flew the inbound leg of a LHR-IST in CE (needed the extra 60 TP).
Was definitely a much nicer experience than ET... time seemed to pass faster having a three course meal and some champagne. But don't expect much (if any) difference regarding the seats/IFE. Would not pay much more than 80 GBP for an upgrade to CE.
