Not all BA-coded flights operated by QF will go. Codeshares within an alliance are a normal thing, and this will , in principle, not be affected by the EK partnership. But the number of codeshares will be reduced because the QF/BA partnership was pretty deep and codeshares will be realigned to match what is now a "normal" partnership within an alliance. (At least this is all we can say for the moment.)
Such as LHR-SIN is keeping the QF codes on BA flights, but the LHR-HKG/BKK are dropping the QF codes.
By April, you could get a AU-UK flight with the same routing as today with QF codes without even flying on a QF aircraft. (EK metal MEL-SIN, BA metal SIN-LHR)
